Learning Herringbone Stitch

Herringbone StitchThis month we're taking a look at Ndebele herringbone stitch, which is a form of beadweaving where the beads in each column are aligned at angles to one another. The flat version of the stitch creates a hefty-feeling band with an interesting, striped surface pattern.

I'm working on a new herrringbone pattern and finishing method this week. If you'd like to get started early, take a look at my latest tutorial, Herringbone Stitch Beading From a Base Row.
